Advocatus global

Expert Advisor on Reform and Transparent Governance in Nigeria Needed

Advocatus global are seeking a part-time expert advisor on reform and transparent governance in Nigeria.
We are supporting a group of clients promoting political accountability and transparency in sub-saharan africa. And are looking for an individual who can provide us insight into:

- the independent national electoral commission, progress towards electoral reform and nigeria’s legal decision making
- transparency and accountability within government
You will have an in-depth understanding of political developments in either of these areas and of the challenges to reform in nigeria. We expect you have a minimum of eight years experience. Preferably including first-hand experience of government relations and public affairs in nigeria. You will have a track record of maintaining relations with political decision makers and government and legal authorities connected to the reform agenda.
You should be able to attend occasional meetings in london and will be required to provide written reports in english covering the latest developments, which will allow our clients to adapt their advocacy strategies to the current circumstances.
